Sweet and Savory Orange Sesame Dressing

With a TON of leaf lettuce growing in my garden, I figured it was time for me to get on the salad train for the summer- a great way to eat large amounts of greens, and also get the chance to experiment with new dressings!

This quick dressing was sweet and savory- I tossed it with shredded leaf lettuce, shredded carrots, green onion, roasted broccoli and cauliflower, and raisins. On to the recipe!

  • Take 2 tbsp of tahini- (sesame seed butter): Dastony makes the most creamy and delicious one I’ve had
  • add in about a tsp of liquid aminos
  • then a tsp of honey
  • finish with a dash of cinnamon (I think ginger would work well in place of this too! I also added a sprinkle of my favorite Teeny Tiny Spice for some heat.)
  • Now squeeze half an orange over the dressing and mix well. It will be very thick so I began to add water slowly, mixing until it reached my desired consistency.
