We know that sports and exercise and fitness are a huge part of the primal movement (thanks, #crossfit), and that within this movement, there is the perspective that we need to have more fun, less standardization and mechanization, let our proverbial primal hair down, and get more pleasure out of exercise. And not just because it’s more fun, but because it develops our physical systems better and more in line with our ancestral blueprint. In fact, let’s not even call it exercise because that word has too much baggage associated with it. We prefer primal play. Big nod to Darryl Edwards here, who has written the book Paleo Fitness and developed an awesome approach to primal play: http://www.thefitnessexplorer.com/
So when we saw this video demonstrating sports in the future, naturally, we saw primal play and technology at work in harmony. Wow. Is this really the future? Cool, yes, but primal? Modern primal, perhaps.
