If you're ready for something pumpkin spice without the baking or coffee involved, grab your favorite nuts and try this easy pumpkin spice trail mix.
First, combine a few varieties of your favorite nuts. I used our almonds and cashews for this batch, about a cup full.
Next, in a large skillet, heat 1 tbsp of coconut oil on medium heat, then toss in the nuts and coat well. Use less for a drier flavor coating.
Turn heat to low and cook for a few minutes, then add 1-2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice, and 1-2 teaspoons Nutiva coconut sugar (optional).
Let cook, tossing every 30 seconds or so, until warm, then let cool on a baking sheet or parchment paper before serving.
