EPIC Whole30 Buffalo Chicken, Bacon, Avocado Salad Featuring Tessemae's 

So the Whole30 meal template tell us that a great Whole30 meal will have:

1-2 palm size proteins

the rest of the plate full of veggies, with a little fruit if desired (not always)

and fat in the following portion size:

1-2 tbsp oil/fat

1/2-1 avocado

1 closed handful of nuts

Salad: the perfect meal?

So... basically, Whole30, what you're telling me is that this salad is almost the perfect meal? Because it absolutely tasted that way! 

This salad combines favorites from EPIC, Tessemae's delicious Whole30 Approved Buffalo Sauce, and our Spicy Cocktail nut blend, from our Whole30 Collection. It's basically a big Whole30 Approved party in your mouth. 

To make it, you will need:

1 chicken breast cutlet (cooks quicker than a thick breast)

Tessemae's Whole30 Approved Buffalo Sauce

2 cups of mixed greens 

chopped tomato

1/4-1/2 of an avocado, sliced

EPIC Hickory Bacon Bits

1/2- 1 Tbsp Kasandrinos Olive Oil 

1 Tbsp Spicy Cocktail Blend Nuts and Seeds or Rosemary Garlic Gone Nuts Blend


Sauté the chicken in a cast iron skillet with olive oil until cooked through. Towards the last few minutes of cooking, brush on a thin coat of Tessemae's buffalo sauce.

While chicken is finishing in the pan, toss greens, tomato, nuts, bacon bits, and avocado in a large bowl, then dress with some good olive oil and a sprinkle of salt and pepper, or Tessemae's Cracked Pepper Dressing. 

Top salad with the sliced buffalo chicken, add additional buffalo sauce if needed, and dig in!
