It all started during a family visit in Malaysia. When founder Michael Pan was traveling throughout Malaysia visiting extended family he was offered a rich, savory snack that he thought was pork-based. He discovered that it was a family recipe featuring shiitake mushrooms, and the idea for Pan’s Mushroom Jerky was born.
