Natural nut butters? Those from the 80s and 90s were plagued with an inch of oil at the top that never seemed to go away, no matter how much I stirred. I was as curious to try this butter as I bet you are right now. It's pale, creamy, and smells like.... well, there isn't much of a smell other than a little bit of nutty backbeat. But that flavor, whoa. Without sweetener or even any salt, you get nothing but the pure essence of the seeds. It took a few bites to figure out the flavor profile and what it reminded me of.
